CAULIFLOWER AND HAM GRATIN
Portions : 4 - Preparation : 20 minutes - Cooking : 35 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 leek, thinly sliced
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) fat of your choice (butter, oil or Mycryo cocoa butter)
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 chicken stock cube
- 500 ml (2 cups) homemade béchamel sauce
- 2 sprigs thyme, leaves removed
- 1 cauliflower, small florets
- 500 ml (2 cups) cooked ham, in small cubes
- 250 ml (1 cup) cheddar cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preheat oven, rack in center, to 200°C (400°F).
- In a hot skillet, brown the leek in the fat of your choice for 2 minutes.
- Add the garlic, bouillon cube and ¼ cup water and stir.
- Add the béchamel sauce, thyme, cauliflower, ham, salt and pepper. Check seasoning.
- Place the prepared mixture in a gratin dish, cover with cheese and bake for 30 minutes.
