TUNA AND PEA GRATIN
Portions : 4 - Preparation time : 10 minutes - Cooking time : 25 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 onion, chopped
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) fat of your choice (butter, oil or Mycryo cocoa butter)
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 250 ml (1 cup) green peas
- 500 ml (2 cups) tuna (canned)
- 500 ml (2 cups) béchamel sauce
- 3 ml (1/2 tsp.) nutmeg, ground
- 250 ml (1 cup) Mozzarella cheese
- 60 ml (4 tablespoons) bread crumbs
- 4 portions white rice, cooked
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preheat oven, rack in center, to 200°C (400°F).
- In a hot skillet, sauté the onion in the fat of your choice until browned. Add the garlic and peas and cook for a further 2-3 minutes. Season to taste.
- In a bowl, mix the tuna, béchamel sauce, nutmeg and half the Mozzarella and check the seasoning.
- Pour the mixture into a gratin dish, cover with the remaining Mozzarella and breadcrumbs. Bake for 20 minutes.
- Serve with rice.
