Jalapenos topped with fresh goat's cheese and herbs

JALAPENOS TOPPED WITH FRESH GOAT'S CHEESE AND HERBS

Portions : 4 - Preparation : 10 minutes - Cooking : 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) fresh goat cheese
  • 8 mint leaves, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp.) honey
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp.) chives
  • 12 jalapenos
  • salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven, rack in center, to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a bowl, combine fresh goat's cheese, mint, garlic, honey, chives, salt and pepper. Check seasoning.
  3. Cut peppers in half, remove seeds and all white membranes.
  4. Garnish the peppers with the prepared mixture.
  5. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat, arrange the chillies and bake for 20 minutes.
