GOURMET PIZZA ON A SLICE OF FARMHOUSE BREAD
Portions : 4 - Preparation time : 5 minutes - Cooking time : 12 minutes
Ingredients
- 3 tomatoes
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 60 ml (4 tablespoons) chives, chopped
- 60 ml (4 tablespoons) parsley leaves, chopped
- 4 large slices country-style bread
- 500 ml (2 cups) mozzarella and cheddar cheese, grated
- 8 slices Prosciutto, thinly sliced
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preheat oven, rack in center, to 220°C (425°F).
- In a bowl, grate tomatoes. Add garlic, chives, parsley, salt and pepper and toss to combine. Check seasoning.
- Place bread slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- On each slice of bread, spread the prepared mixture, then the cheese. Bake for 10 minutes. Then broil for 2 minutes.
- Place a slice of Prosciutto on each slice of bread and serve, accompanied by a green salad.
