CHICKEN BREAST À LA PORTUGAISE
Portions : 4 - Preparation : 10 minutes - Marinade : 2 hours - Cooking time : 14 minutes
Ingredients
- 4 Québec chicken breasts
Marinade
- 1 lemon, juice
- 60 ml (4 tablespoons) dry white wine
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) strong mustard
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) Piri piri
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) Smoked paprika
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 thyme sprigs, leaves removed
- 60 ml (4 tbsp.) olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- In a bowl, combine all marinade ingredients. Add chicken breasts, cover with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Preheat the BBQ to maximum temperature.
- Place the chicken breasts on the BBQ grill and brown for 2 minutes. Then turn them over and sear for a further 2 minutes.
- Turn off the burner directly under the breasts and turn the other burner to maximum. Close the lid and cook for approx. 10 minutes. Halfway through cooking, brush the breasts with the remaining marinade.
