Walnut-crusted chicken

Ingredients

  • 600 g chicken breast
  • 50 g Slivered almonds
  • 50 g walnuts
  • 50 g Oats
  • 50 g Breadcrumbs
  • 500 ml Flour
  • 125 ml Mushroom powder
  • 3 unit(s) Eggs
  • 100 ml Milk
  • qs Salt
  • qs Pepper
  • 30 ml Olive oil

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375˚F
  2. Place the flour on one plate, the beaten egg and milk on another, and mix the breadcrumbs with the previously chopped walnuts, salt and pepper on a third. Coat the chicken in flour (remove excess), then in the egg + milk mixture, and finally in the walnut mixture.
  3. Heat the oil over high heat and brown the chicken on both sides.
  4. Place the chicken breasts on a baking tray and bake for about 15 min.
