Steak sandwich with 3 pepper sauce

STEAK SANDWICH WITH 3 PEPPER SAUCE

Portions : 4 - Preparation : 15 minutes - Cooking time : about 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 beef fondue tray
  • ½ can Cordon Bleu 3 peppercorn sauce
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 500 ml (2 cups) Brussels sprouts, leaves removed
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp.) butter
  • 500 ml (2 cups) mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, julienned
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp.) soy sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 to 6 slices mozzarella
  • 4 sandwich buns
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. In a hot skillet, sauté onion and Brussels sprouts in melted butter for 2 minutes.
  2. Add mushrooms and bell pepper and cook for a further 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, with a little melted butter, brown the meat for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Add the soy sauce, garlic, prepared vegetables and 3 peppercorn sauce, stir and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Check seasoning
  5. Cover with cheese slices and let cool.
  6. Slice sandwich buns and spread with final mixture.
