STEAK SANDWICH WITH 3 PEPPER SAUCE
Portions : 4 - Preparation : 15 minutes - Cooking time : about 15 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 beef fondue tray
- ½ can Cordon Bleu 3 peppercorn sauce
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 500 ml (2 cups) Brussels sprouts, leaves removed
- 60 ml (4 tbsp.) butter
- 500 ml (2 cups) mushrooms, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, julienned
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) soy sauce
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 to 6 slices mozzarella
- 4 sandwich buns
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- In a hot skillet, sauté onion and Brussels sprouts in melted butter for 2 minutes.
- Add mushrooms and bell pepper and cook for a further 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, with a little melted butter, brown the meat for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add the soy sauce, garlic, prepared vegetables and 3 peppercorn sauce, stir and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Check seasoning
- Cover with cheese slices and let cool.
- Slice sandwich buns and spread with final mixture.
