Pulled Pork Burger

Ingredients (for 4 people)

  • 4 sesame burger buns
  • 400 g shredded pork
  • 60 ml barbecue sauce
  • 60 ml of mayonnaise
  • 1 iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • 8 slices of medium cheddar cheese
  • 8 crispy bacon slices
  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • 45 ml of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Flower of salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into fries. Arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, then drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Bake for about 30 minutes.
  3. Cut the burger buns in half and heat them for a few minutes in the oven.
  4. In a saucepan over low heat, warm the shredded pork mixed with the barbecue sauce.
  5. On the bottom half of the buns, arrange the shredded pork, then add the bacon and cheddar slices. Bake for a few moments to melt the cheese.
  6. On the other half of the buns, spread a spoonful of mayonnaise and add the shredded lettuce.
  7. Remove the burgers from the oven and cover them with the top half of the buns. Remove the fries as well and add a pinch of fleur de sel.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
