SHRIMP AND PESTO PIZZA
Portions : 4 - Preparation : 15 minutes - Cooking : 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) walnuts
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) + 15 ml (1 tablespoon) olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 bunch basil, leaves removed
- 36 peeled shrimp 31/40
- 2 pinches oregano
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 2 balls pizza dough
- 2 balls mozzarella, sliced
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preheat oven, rack in center, to 260°C (500°F).
- Using a food processor or hand blender, purée the walnuts, olive oil, garlic and basil.
- In a bowl, combine shrimp, oregano, cayenne pepper, 15 ml (1 tbsp.) olive oil, salt and pepper.
- Roll out pizza dough on work surface.
- Cover each dough with prepared pesto and arrange shrimp and mozzarella slices on top.
- Bake in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
