Pizza with shrimp and pesto

SHRIMP AND PESTO PIZZA

Portions : 4 - Preparation : 15 minutes - Cooking : 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) walnuts
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) + 15 ml (1 tablespoon) olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 bunch basil, leaves removed
  • 36 peeled shrimp 31/40
  • 2 pinches oregano
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 2 balls pizza dough
  • 2 balls mozzarella, sliced
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven, rack in center, to 260°C (500°F).
  2. Using a food processor or hand blender, purée the walnuts, olive oil, garlic and basil.
  3. In a bowl, combine shrimp, oregano, cayenne pepper, 15 ml (1 tbsp.) olive oil, salt and pepper.
  4. Roll out pizza dough on work surface.
  5. Cover each dough with prepared pesto and arrange shrimp and mozzarella slices on top.
  6. Bake in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
