TOMATO AND HOT MUSTARD TART
Portions : 4 - Preparation : 10 minutes - Cooking : 30 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 ball puff pastry, homemade or store-bought
- 2 heirloom tomatoes, sliced
- 60 ml (4 tablespoons) hot mustard
- 5 ml (1 tsp.) dried oregano
- 1 garlic clove
- 45 ml (3 tablespoons) olive oil
- 45 ml (3 tablespoons) capers
- Ground pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preheat oven, rack in center, to 200°C (400°F).
- Roll out puff pastry on work surface.
- Place pastry in a pie dish. Using a fork, prick the tart base.
- Brush the tart base with mustard and arrange the tomato slices, overlapping slightly.
- In a bowl, mix oil, garlic, oregano, capers and pepper.
- Spread over tomatoes and bake for 30 minutes.
