PORK LOIN PAVÉ WITH COFFEE
Portions : 4 - Preparation : 5 minutes - Cooking time : 15 minutes
Ingredients
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) coffee, ground
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) soy sauce
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) brown sugar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 90 ml (6 tbsp) olive oil
- 60 ml (4 tbsp) white balsamic vinegar
- 4 Québec pork loin steaks (1" thick)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preheat oven, rack in center, to 200°C (400°F).
- In a bowl, combine coffee, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper.
- Coat meat steaks with mixture.
- In a hot frying pan, sear the meat for 1 minute on each side.
- Arrange meat on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
- Serve with green vegetables and sautéed potatoes.
