Almost smoked salmon

Ingredients

  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) honey
  • 1 ml (1/4 tsp) liquid smoke
  • 400 gr (13 1/2 oz) salmon, cut into large cubes
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp) fat of your choice (butter, oil or Mycryo cocoa butter)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 125 ml (½ cup) 35% cream
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crispy
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp) parsley leaves, chopped
  • 1 lemon, juice
  • 4 servings cooked spaghetti
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix the honey, liquid smoke and 30 ml (2 tbsp) water, salt and pepper.
  2. Add the salmon cubes and mix to coat.
  3. In a hot pan, brown the salmon in the fat of your choice, 1 minute on each side. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add the onion and brown for 2 minutes.
  5. Add the garlic, cream, bacon, parsley, lemon juice and spaghetti. Check the seasoning.
  6. Add the salmon cubes.
