BOWL OF PORK NOODLES
Portions : 4 - Preparation : 10 minutes - Cooking : 15 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 Québec pork tenderloin
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) bbq sauce
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) soy sauce
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) chicken or vegetable stock
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) sesame oil
- 1 onion, minced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) fresh ginger, chopped
- 1 lime, juice
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) Sambal Oelek
- 3 ml (1/2 tsp.) liquid smoke (optional)
- 1 package Asian egg noodles
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) fat (oil, butter, Mycryo cocoa butter)
- 60 ml (4 tbsp.) peanuts, crushed
- 60 ml (4 tbsp.) green onions
- ¼ bunch fresh cilantro, leaves removed, chopped
Preparation
- Preheat the bbq to maximum.
- Using a knife, cut the pork tenderloin into ½" thick slices.
- Brush pork slices with fat of your choice.
- Place the pork slices on the grill of the bbq, 45 seconds on each side, and set aside in a bowl. Season the pork with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, combine and simmer the bbq sauce, soy sauce, broth, sesame oil, onion, garlic, ginger, lime juice, Sambal Oelek and smoke liquid for 5 minutes over medium heat.
- Cook noodles according to package directions.
- In 4 large bowls, scatter the cooked noodles, add a large spoonful of sauce, scatter the slices of pork, add the peanuts, green onion and coriander.
