Ingredients
- 500 ml (2 cups) desiccated coconut, grated
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) sweetened condensed milk
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) coconut rum
- 1/2 orange, zest
- 1 pinch salt
- 25 hazelnuts, roasted
Preparation
- In a bowl, set aside 60-90 ml (4-6 tbsp.) shredded coconut.
- In a bowl, blend condensed milk, remaining coconut, rum, zest and salt until stiff. Add more coconut if necessary.
- Coat each hazelnut with the prepared mixture to form walnut-sized balls.
- Coat balls with reserved coconut instead.
