Ingredients
- 250 ml (1 cup) fromage frais or cream cheese
- 5 basil leaves, chopped
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) parsley leaves, chopped
- 45 ml (3 tbsp.) white balsamic vinegar
- ½ lemon, zest
- 24 multicolored cherry tomatoes
- 1 bunch chives, for decorative stems
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- In a bowl, combine fromage frais, basil, parsley, vinegar, lemon zest, salt and pepper.
- Fill a pastry bag with the prepared mixture.
- Using the tip of a paring knife, make deep x-notches in the tomatoes.
- Using a pastry bag, fill the inside of the tomatoes.
- Make a small hole at the end of the tomatoes for a chive stalk.
