Bouquet of cherry tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 250 ml (1 cup) fromage frais or cream cheese
  • 5 basil leaves, chopped
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) parsley leaves, chopped
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp.) white balsamic vinegar
  • ½ lemon, zest
  • 24 multicolored cherry tomatoes
  • 1 bunch chives, for decorative stems
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, combine fromage frais, basil, parsley, vinegar, lemon zest, salt and pepper.
  2. Fill a pastry bag with the prepared mixture.
  3. Using the tip of a paring knife, make deep x-notches in the tomatoes.
  4. Using a pastry bag, fill the inside of the tomatoes.
  5. Make a small hole at the end of the tomatoes for a chive stalk.
