Beef brochette with coffee

BEEF BROCHETTE WITH COFFEE

Portions : 4 - Preparation and marinating : 10 minutes - Cooking : 10 to 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 500 g (17 oz) beef rib-eye roast
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) ground coffee
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) sweet paprika
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp.) herbes de Provence
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) honey
  • 12 cherry tomatoes
  • 2 yellow onions, quartered
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp) olive oil
  • salt to taste

Preparation

  1. Preheat BBQ to maximum.
  2. Trim and cut beef into skewer cubes.
  3. In a bowl, combine beef cubes, coffee, paprika, herbes de Provence and honey.
  4. Marinate for 5 minutes.
  5. Make 4 skewers, alternating beef cubes, cherry tomatoes and onion pieces.
  6. Brush skewers with olive oil.
  7. Cook and grill the skewers for the time required, depending on the size of the cubes and the desired doneness.
