Ingredients
- 120 ml (8 tablespoons) olive oil
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) horseradish
- 2 thyme sprigs, leaves removed
- 5 ml (1 tsp.) sugar
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 lemon, juice
- 1 red onion, quartered
- 8 Oyster King mushrooms, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preheat barbecue to maximum heat
- In a bowl, combine oil, horseradish, thyme, sugar, garlic and lemon juice.
- Add onion and mushrooms and marinate for 5 minutes.
- Alternate slices of mushroom and onion on skewers.
- Place skewers on barbecue grill and cook for 5 minutes on each side. Season with salt and pepper.
