Ingredients
- 4 Quebec ground beef patties
- 4 cubes cheddar cheese
- 8 slices chorizo or capicollo or salami
- 4 burger buns
- 250 ml (1 cup) cheddar cheese, grated, divided into 4 portions
- 4 to 8 slices tomato
- 4 lettuce leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Insert a cube of cheddar cheese into each meat patty.
- In a hot pan or on the grill, sear and cook the meat until desired doneness. Season with salt and pepper.
- At the same time, in a hot frying pan, sear the chorizo for 2 to 3 minutes on each side. Set aside.
- Toast the bread.
- Meanwhile, in a hot frying pan, place 1 portion of grated cheese, allow to melt and become crispy, turn over and set aside. Repeat for the remaining portions, to make 4 cheese tiles.
- Top each burger bun with a meat patty, a cheese tile, 2 tomato slices, a lettuce leaf and 2 chorizo slices.
- Serve with fries.
