Hulk Burger

Ingredients

  • 120 ml (8 tbsp.) mayonnaise
  • 120 ml (8 tbsp.) relish
  • 800 g (27 oz.) medium-lean ground beef
  • 8 slices strong Cheddar cheese
  • 8 burger buns
  • 250 ml (1 cup) feta cheese, crumbled
  • 2 onions, grilled
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 2 limes, quartered
  • 8 Jalapenos, toasted (white membranes and seeds removed)
  • 8 lettuce leaves
  • salt and pepper to taste

    Preparation

      1. Mix mayonnaise and relish in a bowl. Set aside.
      2. Preheat BBQ to maximum.
      3. Shape into 8 beef patties. Season with salt and pepper.
      4. On the BBQ grill, sear the patties on both sides, then continue cooking indirectly for a few minutes.
      5. At the end of cooking, place the slices of cheddar cheese on top of the patties.
      6. Heat the buns.
      7. Spread the mayonnaise on both sides of each bun, then spread the feta, onions, a meat patty, a few slices of avocado and, on top, the juice of a lime wedge, salt, pepper, a few pieces of Jalapenos, a leaf of lettuce and close each bun.
