RICOTTA AND BEEF CANNELLONI
Portions : 4 - Preparation : 15 minutes - Cooking time : 35 to 40 minutes
Ingredients
- 450 g (16 oz) lean ground beef
- 60 ml (4 tablespoons) fat of your choice (butter, oil or Mycryo cocoa butter)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bouillon cube
- 1 red bell pepper, brunoise
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 500 ml (2 cups) ricotta cheese
- 250 ml (1 cup) Mozzarella, grated
- 500 ml (2 cups) tomato sauce
- 1 package ready-to-bake cannelloni
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preheat oven, rack in center, to 200°C (400°F).
- In a hot skillet, brown the beef in the fat of your choice until brown.
- Add the onion, stock cube, red bell pepper and garlic and cook for a further 5 minutes.
- Remove from the heat, add the ricotta, salt and pepper and mix.
- Garnish cannelloni and place in a lasagne dish. Cover with tomato sauce, then with mozzarella and
- bake for 30 minutes.
