Ingredients
- 4 slices hallumi cheese
- 60 ml (4 tablespoons) olive oil
- 1 l (4 cups) cherry tomatoes
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) thyme, leaves removed
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) maple syrup
- 60 ml (4 tbsp.) dark beer
- 4 eggs
- 60 ml (4 tbsp.) parsley leaves
- 4 slices toast
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- In a hot skillet, sear Hallumi slices in oil for 2 to 3 minutes on each side. Remove and set aside.
- In hot skillet, brown tomatoes, thyme, garlic, syrup, beer and reduce. Check seasoning and set aside.
- Fry the eggs.
- Divide the hallumi, tomato paste, eggs and parsley on each plate.
- Serve with slices of toast.
