Banana and chocolate cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp) softened butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp) sugar
  • 105 ml (7 tbsp) flour
  • 500 ml (2 cups) rolled oats
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) vanilla extract
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) Ocoa 70% Cacao Barry chocolate chips, roughly chopped
  • 1 pinch salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven, rack in the middle, to 200 °C (400 °F).
  2. In a bowl, using a whisk, mix the bananas, butter and egg.
  3. Add the sugar and whisk until smooth.
  4. Stir in flour and oats.
  5. Stir in vanilla, chocolate chunks and salt.
  6. Form into balls.
  7. On a baking sheet lined with a silicone mat, place the dough balls and bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
  8. Cool on a cookie rack.
