PORK CHOP À LA PROVENÇALE
Portions : 4 - Preparation : 15 minutes - Cooking time : 5 to 8 minutes
Ingredients
- 60 ml (4 tablespoons) olive oil
- 5 ml (1 teaspoon) dried oregano
- 5 ml (1 tsp.) sugar
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) tomato paste
- 4 Québec pork chops, boneless
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 3 tomatoes, sliced
- 2 pinches herbes de Provence blend
- 2 zucchini, brunoise
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- In a bowl, mix 30 ml (2 tbsp.) olive oil, oregano, sugar, tomato paste, salt and pepper.
- Coat meat with mixture. Set aside.
- In a hot frying pan, brown the onion in the remaining oil for 2 minutes. Add the garlic, tomato slices, herbes de Provence, zucchini, salt and pepper and sauté for 5 minutes. Check seasoning and set aside.
- Meanwhile, in a hot grill pan, sear the meat on each side for 2 to 3 minutes.
