Stir-fried prawns with ginger

Ingredients

  • 24 shrimp 31/40, peeled
  • 60 ml (4 tablespoons) fresh ginger, grated
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp.) sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp.) lime juice
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp.) vegetable stock
  • 1 head broccoli, cut into small pieces
  • 2 green onion stalks, thinly sliced
  • 5 ml (1 tsp.) Sambal Oelek or other chili pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. In a hot skillet, sauté shrimp and ginger in sesame oil for 2 minutes.
  2. Add garlic, lemon juice, broth, Sambal Oelek and broccoli and cook over medium heat for 2 minutes.
  3. Check seasoning.
  4. Add the green onions and serve over white rice or other rice.
