Shrimps wow

WOW SHRIMPS

Portions : 4 - Preparation : 10 minutes - Cooking time : about 7 minutes

Ingredients

  • 24 to 36 peeled shrimp 31/40
  • 45 ml (3 tablespoons) butter
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp.) Cajun spice blend
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp.) maple syrup
  • 1 lemon, juice

Toppings

  • 15 ml (1 tbsp.) butter
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ lemon, zest
  • 3 ml (1/2 tsp.) chili flakes
  • 4 portions cooked white rice

Preparation

  1. In a hot skillet, melt butter, add shrimp, Cajun spices and garlic and sauté over high heat for 2 minutes.
  2. Add maple syrup and lemon juice and continue cooking over medium heat, 4 to 5 minutes. Check seasoning.
  3. Meanwhile, in another skillet, melt butter, add panko breadcrumbs, lemon zest and chili flakes and sauté, stirring constantly, for 2 to 3 minutes, until golden-brown. Check seasoning.
  4. Divide the rice, shrimps and seasoned panko breadcrumbs between the plates.
