Ingredients
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) chocolate hazelnut spread
- 2 bananas
- 60 ml (4 tbsp.) Amaretto
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts)
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) corn or potato starch
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 package 4''x 4'' imperial roll dough
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) flour diluted in water to serve as glue
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) powdered sugar
Preparation
- Preheat fryer oil to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, mix the spread, bananas, Amaretto, walnuts, cornstarch and salt until smooth.
- Spread the mixture in the center of each square of dough, then roll the dough around it to form small rolls, remembering to fold over the sides to make it more airtight, and use the flour diluted in water to stick the dough to the edges.
- Dip the rolls in hot oil for 1-2 minutes, until crisp.
- Place rolls on paper towel.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve hot.
