Cheese and apple cake in a glass

Ingredients

  • 3 Honeycrisp apples, cubed
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) butter
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp) sugar
  • 1 lemon, juice
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) vanilla extract
  • 250 ml (1 cup) 35% cream
  • 250 ml (1 cup) cream cheese
  • 90 ml (6 tbsp) maple syrup
  • ½ lemon, zest
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 12 Oreo cookies, crushed

Preparation

  1. In a hot skillet, brown the apples in the butter for 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Add the sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract and stir, continuing to cook for another 2 minutes.
  3. Let cool.
  4. Meanwhile, in a bowl, using a whisk or electric mixer, whip the 35% cream until you obtain a semi-firm consistency.
  5. In another bowl, using an electric mixer, whip the cream cheese and maple syrup.
  6. Incorporate the whipped cream, lemon zest and salt.
  7. In each glass, layer the crushed biscuits, then the prepared mixture and finally the sautéed apples.
