It's simple to make, the ingredients and spices are interchangeable, and it's always delicious. The advantage of making it yourself is that you get to choose your ingredients, the amount of sugar, and the spices.
As for the granola, you still need a base of oat flakes preferably. Then, you need to add some seeds (alone or mixed, according to taste) like sunflower, flax, sesame, pumpkin, etc. You can also add almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts and also spices (cinnamon, ginger, orange peel, etc.). You need to add a sweet binder, like agave syrup or maple syrup, and after baking (very important detail, otherwise, you'll break a tooth!), you can add dried fruits (bananas, cranberries, apricots, etc.) and even for the most greedy, chocolate chips!
For a little more crunch, you can also add puffed cereals (puffed rice or quinoa, for example).
