Crab gratin in shell

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 Jalapeno pepper, membranes and seeds removed, finely diced
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp) olive oil
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) honey
  • 250 ml (1 cup) peas, cooked
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 500 ml (2 cups) crab meat
  • 1 tomato, cored, diced
  • 205 ml (1 cup) béchamel sauce
  • 120 ml (8 tbsp) breadcrumbs
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven, rack in the middle to 200 °C (400 °F).
  2. In a hot skillet, sauté the onion and jalapenos in a little oil until browned.
  3. Add the honey, peas and garlic.
  4. In a bowl, mix the mixture obtained, the crab meat, the tomato and the béchamel sauce,
  5. Garnish the crab shells, cover with breadcrumbs and bake for 15 min.
