Ingredients
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 to 8 Italian pork sausages
- 60 ml (4 tbsp) fat of your choice (butter, oil or Mycryo cocoa butter)
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 250 ml (1 cup) red wine
- 1 l (4 cups) cooked green lentils, canned
- 250 ml (1 cup) tomato sauce
- 250 ml (1 cup) chicken broth
- ½ bunch parsley, leaves removed, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- In a saucepan, brown the onion and sausages in the fat of your choice.
- Add the garlic and bacon and sauté for another 2 minutes.
- Add the wine and reduce until almost dry.
- Add the lentils, tomato sauce, broth and cook covered for 30 minutes. Check the seasoning.
- Add the parsley and serve.
