Mini croissants with fruit and whipped cream

Mini croissants aux fruits et crème chantilly

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Serves : 4

Ingredients

  • 4 to 8 mini croissants
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) apricot or strawberry jam
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) strawberries, sliced
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) blueberries
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) raspberries
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Homemade whipped cream (if using) :

  • 250 ml (1 cup) 35% cream
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp.) powdered sugar
  • 5 ml (1 tsp.) vanilla extract

Preparation

  1. If making homemade whipped cream, whip 35% cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  2. Slice mini croissants in half lengthwise. Spread inside with a little jam.
  3. Garnish with fresh fruit, then add whipped cream (homemade or from a spray can).
  4. Place on top of croissants and sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
