Summer Raspberry and Lemon Mocktail

It seems like summer is already well and truly here in Montreal!

So, a nice cold cocktail sounds great, but very often, alcohol doesn't go well with the heat... So it's time to try this mocktail.

Servings: for 1 glass

Ingredients

  • 2 oz of non-alcoholic gin
  • 1 oz raspberry syrup
  • 1 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 head of mint
  • 1 lemon zest
  • 2 oz of tonic water
  • ice cream

Preparation

  1. In the shaker, put the non-alcoholic gin, raspberry syrup and lemon juice.
  2. Fill the shaker 3/4 full with ice and shake for 8 to 10 seconds.
  3. Fill a glass three-quarters full with ice, pour the contents of the shaker over the glass, and top up with tonic water. Using a cocktail spoon, stir gently.
  4. Add a sprig of mint and squeeze the lemon zest over the glass before adding it to the glass.
