PIZZA WITH GRILLED VEGETABLES (CAN ALSO INCLUDE MEAT)
Portions : 4 - Preparation : 15 minutes - Cooking time : 8 to 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 90 ml (6 tablespoons) olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 pinches herbes de Provence blend
- 1 eggplant, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, cubed
- 1 yellow bell pepper, cubed
- 1 zucchini, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- 1 ball pizza dough
- 125 ml (½ cup) tomato sauce
- 2 balls mozzarella, sliced
- 4 slices bacon, cooked crisp and cut into pieces
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preheat oven, rack in center, to 290°C (550°F).
- In a ridged skillet, sear vegetables.
- In a bowl, combine oil, garlic, herbes de Provence, salt and pepper.
- Spread dough on work surface.
- Spread the tomato sauce over the dough, arrange the cooked vegetables, mozzarella slices and bacon bits and bake for 5 minutes.
- On top, spread the prepared flavored oil.
