Bolognese pizza and burrata

Ingredients

  • 1 ball of homemade or store-bought pizza dough
  • 250 ml (1 cup) homemade Bolognese sauce
  • 12 Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 120 ml (8 tbsp) olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp) parsley leaves, minced
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp) basil leaves, minced
  • 250 ml (1 cup) arugula
  • 1 ball burrata,
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven, rack in the center to 290 °C (550 °F) or maximum, if possible the pizza stone on the rack.
  2. On the work surface, roll out the pizza dough.
  3. On the dough, spread the Bolognese sauce, the Cherry tomatoes, slide the dough into the oven and cook for 5 to 8 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix the oil, garlic, parsley, basil, salt and pepper. Check the seasoning.
  5. When ready to serve, on the pizza, spread the arugula, the prepared herb oil, open the burrata in the center, salt and pepper.
