Breakfast pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough ball
  • 90 ml (6 tablespoons) homemade tomato sauce
  • 6 slices cooked ham
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp.) maple syrup
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) breakfast potatoes, cooked
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) mozzarella, grated
  • 4 eggs
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven, rack in center, to 290°C (550°F).
  2. Roll out pizza dough on work surface
  3. On top of the dough, spread the tomato sauce, ham, maple syrup, potatoes, Parmesan cheese and mozzarella and bake for 5 to 6 minutes, until the dough has cooked slightly.
  4. Spread the eggs, salt and pepper over the pizza and continue baking for a further 5 minutes, until the eggs are cooked to your liking.
