Apple, chocolate and mandarin naan pizza

Ingredients

  • 2 apples, cubed
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) butter
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) maple syrup
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 4 naan breads
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp) chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 2 mandarin oranges, peeled, in segments
  • 125 ml (½ cup) almonds, slivered

Preparation

  1. In a hot skillet, sauté the apples in the butter, add the maple syrup, salt and cook over high heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Set aside and let cool.
  2. In the meantime, in a skillet, warm the naan breads, 2 minutes on each side.
  3. On each bread, spread the chocolate spread, then distribute the sautéed apples, mandarin segments and sprinkle with slivered almonds.
