Ingredients
- 250 ml (1 cup) tomato sauce (homemade if possible)
- 1 zucchini, brunoise
- 1 carrot, brunoise
- 250 ml (1 cup) mushrooms, sliced
- 500 ml (2 cups) spinach leaves
- 1 scoop homemade or store-bought pizza dough
- 500 ml (2 cups) cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 8 to 12 slices pepperoni
Preparation
- Heat tomato sauce in a saucepan, add zucchini, carrot, mushrooms, spinach, 250 ml (1 cup) water and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven, rack in center, to 290°C (550°F) or maximum, if possible with pizza stone on rack.
- Using a hand blender, purée the mixture.
- On the work surface, roll out the pizza dough, spread the prepared sauce, cheese, bell pepper and piperoni, slide the pizza into the oven and bake for 5 to 8 minutes.
