Ingredients
- 1 Québec pork shoulder (about 2kg)
- 1 l (4 cups) vegetable broth
- 1 l (4 cups) apple juice
- 500 ml (2 cups) BBQ sauce
- 3 lemons, sliced
- 2 onions, chopped
- 90 ml (6 tbsp) soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 150°C (300°F).
- Place pork shoulder in a roasting pan, add apple juice, broth, barbecue sauce, lemons, onions and soy sauce, cover and bake for 6 hours.
- Let cool, then shred the meat.
- Reserve the cooking juices for moistening the meat later, if you reheat it.
