PULLED PORK WITH BEER AND MUSTARD
Portions : 4 - Preparation : 10 minutes - Cooking time : 40 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 bottle Rickard's Red
- 45 ml (3 tablespoons) hot mustard
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) honey
- 600 g (20 ½ oz) Québec pork, pulled
- 8 burger buns or brioche buns
- 8 lettuce leaves
- 8 slices strong Cheddar cheese
- 120 ml (8 tbsp.) coleslaw
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- In a saucepan, reduce the beer over low heat for 30 minutes.
- Add the mustard and honey and simmer for a further 5 minutes.
- Add the pulled pork and allow to warm through.
- Open each loaf in half and top with a lettuce leaf and a slice of cheese. Top with the pulled pork, then the coleslaw.
