Asian-style grilled pork

ASIAN-STYLE GRILLED PORK

Portions : 4 - Preparation : 20 minutes - Cooking time : 3 to 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 500 g (17 oz) Québec sirloin pork, thinly sliced
  • 120 ml (8 tbsp.) Nuoc-mâm sauce
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp.) SambalOelek hot sauce
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp.) sesame oil
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp.) Hoisin sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, finely julienned
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • ¼ bunch coriander, leaves removed and chopped
  • 2 carrots, shredded
  • 4 portions white rice, cooked

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix the pork slices, Nuoc-mâm, Sambal Oelek, sesame oil, Hoisin sauce and garlic.
  2. In a hot frying pan, brown the meat until golden.
  3. Add the bell pepper and onion and cook for a further 1 minute.
  4. Add the fresh coriander.
  5. Divide the rice, prepared meat and carrots between the plates.
