CHICKEN SHISH TAOUK EL FAZ AU BBQ
Portions : 4 - Preparation : 15 minutes - Marinade : 30 minutes to 24 hours - Cooking time : 11 minutes
Ingredients
- 4 boneless chicken thighs, cut in half
- 1 jar Shish Taouk marinade mix
- Salt and pepper to taste
CABBAGE AND CUCUMBER SALAD
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 500 ml (2 cups) shredded kale
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) mayonnaise
- 120 ml (8 tbsp.) lemon juice
- 60 ml (4 tbsp.) olive oil
- 60 ml (4 tbsp) Tahini El Faz
- 90 ml (6 tbsp) mint leaves, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
TREMPETTE
- 60 ml (4 tbsp.) maple syrup
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 5 ml (1 tsp.) harissa
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Place chicken in a dish, add Shish Taouk marinade and marinate for 30 minutes to 24 hours.
- Preheat barbecue to maximum.
- On the barbecue grill, sear the chicken thighs for 3 minutes on each side, then continue cooking indirectly, with the lid closed, for 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, for the salad, combine the cucumber, kale, garlic, mayonnaise, lemon juice, olive oil, Tahini and mint leaves in a bowl. Check seasoning.
- For the dip, in a small bowl, combine maple syrup, garlic and harissa. Check seasoning.
- Place the prepared salad on each plate, top with a piece of chicken and drizzle with the dip.
