Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, small cubes
- 60 ml (4 tablespoons) fat of your choice (butter, oil or Mycryo cocoa butter)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) ginger, chopped
- 250 ml (1 cup) carrot, cubed
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 500 ml (2 cups) snow peas
- 250 ml (1 cup) edamame beans
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) soy sauce
- 5 ml (1 tsp.) Sambal Oelek hot sauce
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) Hoisin sauce
- 750 ml (3 cups) chicken broth
- 60 ml (4 tbsp.) sesame oil
- 190 ml (¾ cup) basmati rice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- In a skillet, brown chicken cubes coated with Mycryo butter or in the fat of your choice, until browned.
- Add onion, ginger and carrot cubes and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Add garlic, snow peas, beans, soy sauce, hot sauce, Hoisin sauce, stock, sesame oil, rice, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Check seasoning.
- Remove the lid and sauté the mixture over high heat.
