BBQ ROAST BEEF
Portions : 4 - Preparation : 15 minutes - Cooking : 30 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 Québec beef tenderloin roast
- 250 ml (1 cup) olive oil
- 90 ml (6 tablespoons) balsamic vinegar
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 sprigs thyme, leaves removed
- 1 bouillon cube
- salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preheat the BBQ to maximum
- In a tall container, using a hand blender, blend the oil, vinegar, garlic, thyme, salt and pepper.
- Using a kitchen syringe, collect the sauce and inject the beef tenderloin all over.
- Rub the meat with the stock cube.
- Turn off the heat, place the meat on one side of the BBQ and on the grill on that same side. Close the lid and cook for 20 to 25 minutes, depending on desired doneness. Your thermometer should read 50°C (122°F).
- Remove from the BBQ. Wrap the meat in aluminum foil and let stand for 10 minutes.
- Then, on the lit side of the BBQ grill, continue cooking to brown the roast before serving.
