CINNAMON PECAN ROLL

Portions : 4 - Preparation : 20 minutes - Cooking : 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 250 ml (1 cup) unsalted butter, kneaded
  • 250 ml (1 cup) brown sugar
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) cinnamon, ground
  • 1 orange, zest
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 pure butter puff pastries (store-bought)
  • 500 ml (2 cups) diced marshmallows
  • 250 ml (1 cup) pecans

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven, rack in center, to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, zest, cinnamon and salt.
  3. On a work surface, cut each puff pastry into 2 strips.
  4. On each of the 4 strips of pastry, spread the prepared mixture, sprinkle the marshmallow cubes and half (1/2 cup) of the pecans.
  5. Roll up each strip to make 4 rolls and cut each roll in half.
  6. Place the rolls in an ovenproof dish, sprinkle with the remaining pecans and bake for about 40 minutes.
