DESSERT SUSHI ROLL
Portions : 4 - Preparation time : 20 to 30 minutes
Ingredients
- 60 ml (4 tablespoons) unsalted butter
- 1.5 l (6 cups) mini marshmallows
- 10 ml (2 teaspoons) vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
- 500 ml (2 cups) cereal of your choice
- 1 l (4 cups) Rice Krispies
Toppings
- Chopped fruit (apple, banana, mango, etc.)
- Spreads / nuts
- Candies / liquorice / jujubes
- Sushi soy leaves
Preparation
- Melt the butter in a saucepan.
- Add the marshmallows and, while stirring, let them melt.
- Stir in the vanilla and salt, then remove from the heat and add the cereal of your choice and the Rice Krispies.
- On a buttered baking sheet, pour and spread the mixture.
- Leave to cool to room temperature.
- Place the mixture on the work surface. Using a rolling pin, thin to ¼ inch.
- Cut into 6 x 6" squares.
- Place the filling(s) of your choice on each square.
- Roll up each square, then cut each roll to sushi size.
- Decorate and serve.
- If you have soy leaves, use them like the seaweed leaves, to wrap the rolls like sushi.
