Strawberry and tomato salad with burratta

STRAWBERRY AND TOMATO SALAD WITH BURRATA

Portions : 4 - Preparation time : 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 multicolored heirloom tomatoes, cut into chunks
  • 1 punnet Quebec strawberries, rinsed, hulled and quartered
  • 1 clove garlic, puréed
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) arugula
  • 60 ml (4 tablespoons) olive oil
  • 60 ml (4 tablespoons) balsamic vinegar
  • 4 burrata cheese
  • 60 ml (4 tablespoons) pecans
  • 8 bread croutons
  • 12 basil leaves
  • Qs fleur de sel
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, combine tomatoes, strawberries, garlic, arugula, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. Check seasoning.
  2. On each plate, divide the prepared salad, place a burrata on top, scatter the pecans, croutons and basil leaves. Sprinkle a little fleur de sel and freshly ground pepper over the top.
