Pizza lollipops

Sucettes de pizza

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 50 to 65 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pure butter puff pastry (store-bought)
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) tomato pizza sauce
  • 8 slices pepperoni or cooked ham, finely chopped
  • 250 ml (1 cup) mozzarella cheese
  • 8 basil leaves, chopped
  • 2 pinches herbes de Provence blend
  • 125 ml (½ cup) grated Parmesan cheese

PREPARATION

  1. Preheat oven, rack in center, to 190°C (375°F).
  2. On work surface, roll out puff pastry.
  3. Spread the tomato sauce over the dough, then divide between the cold cuts, mozzarella, basil and herbes de Provence.
  4. Roll the pastry into a tight ball. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  5. Cut the boudin into ½-inch-thick slices and hold each slice with a wooden pick.
  6. On an ovenproof baking sheet lined with a silicone mat, spread out the slices, sprinkle with Parmesan and bake for 20 minutes, until golden brown.
  7. Let cool before serving.
