Asian-style salmon tartar with avocado and sesame seeds

ASIAN-STYLE SALMON TARTAR WITH AVOCADO AND SESAME SEEDS

Portions : 4 - Preparation time : 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 400 g (13 1/2 oz) fresh salmon, cubed
  • 60 ml (4 tablespoons) sesame oil
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) rice vinegar
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp.) fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 5 ml (1 tsp.) SambalOelek
  • 250 ml (1 cup) tempura, crisp
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp.) sesame seeds
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp) Tobiko fish roe
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, combine salmon, sesame oil, rice vinegar, coriander, avocado and SambalOelek. Check seasoning.
  2. Divide the tempura and salmon tartar between the bowls and garnish with sesame seeds and fish roe.
