GARGANTUA TARTIFLETTE
Portions : 10 - Preparation : 10 minutes - Cooking : 45 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 kg (2.2 lbs) Rate potatoes, halved
- 500 ml (2 cups) béchamel sauce
- 500 ml (2 cups) grilled bacon
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) onion jam
- 1 whole reblochon cheese
- 16 slices raw bacon
Preparation
- Preheat bbq over medium heat.
- In a bowl, combine the potato halves, béchamel sauce, grilled bacon and onion jam. Season with salt and pepper.
- Place the mixture in a lasagne dish. Cut the Reblochon cheese into two circles. Place each cheese half on top, rind side up. Cover with bacon slices.
- Turn off the heat on one side of the bbq and place the dish on the same side, with the lid closed.
- Cook for about 45 minutes. Check the potatoes for doneness with a fork.
