Tartiflette gargantua

GARGANTUA TARTIFLETTE

Portions : 10 - Preparation : 10 minutes - Cooking : 45 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 kg (2.2 lbs) Rate potatoes, halved
  • 500 ml (2 cups) béchamel sauce
  • 500 ml (2 cups) grilled bacon
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) onion jam
  • 1 whole reblochon cheese
  • 16 slices raw bacon

Preparation

  1. Preheat bbq over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine the potato halves, béchamel sauce, grilled bacon and onion jam. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the mixture in a lasagne dish. Cut the Reblochon cheese into two circles. Place each cheese half on top, rind side up. Cover with bacon slices.
  4. Turn off the heat on one side of the bbq and place the dish on the same side, with the lid closed.
  5. Cook for about 45 minutes. Check the potatoes for doneness with a fork.
