Grilled tempeh with herbs and white balsamic

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp) olive oil
  • 600 gr (20 ½ oz) tempeh, cut into triangles
  • 1 sprig thyme, leaves removed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) white wine
  • 500 ml (2 cups) snow peas
  • 1 red pepper, julienned
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp) white balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. In a hot skillet, brown the onion in the oil for 2 minutes.
  2. Add the tempeh and brown for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the thyme, garlic and white wine and reduce over medium heat for a few minutes.
  4. Add snow peas, bell pepper, chilli, white balsamic vinegar and mix cook xxx?? minutes. Check seasoning.
  5. Serve with rice.
